Noticing the shot list and storyboard generation halting midway? No worries, we're here to help you troubleshoot! 😊 Here's what to do:
Page Refresh: Sometimes it can happen that our AI experiences some sort of issue in the middle of generating the storyboard, but no problem. Please try refreshing your browser and see (when going to your project dashboard) if your shot list or some of the storyboard images have been generated. If you are in your storyboard view, it also helps to press the "Generate Storyboard" button again to continue the image generation.
PDF Check: Review your PDF for any uncommon characters or strange formatting. Things like revision asterisks, version numbers, watermarks, or even page numbers can confuse the AI and cause the process to abort. Keep your PDF clean and free from such distractions.
Technical Support: If you've ensured your script or concept meets the standards and the shot list and storyboard still aborts, reach out to our support team. You can send your PDF or FDX/Fountain-file to our technical team for a thorough review. If any errors are detected, we'll send the file back to you for another upload attempt.
Rest assured, if no images were created in the storyboard, this does not count towards your project slots. If, for some reason it did, once you've archived or deleted the non-working projects, we'll reset your project count so you don't lose any slots.
